Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) felt that the general public, especially parents, were either unaware of its educational programme or did not realise the wonderful wildlife education opportunity it provides for children. We needed to heighten awareness. During programme sessions, animals play the important role of special teachers. Based on this insight, we combined a well-known school image – a class photo – together with one of the zoo’s most popular residents, the orangutan. The message: WRS’ education programme delivers a learning experience beyond the ordinary.
